Epic 2017 End of Year Update

Another momentous year…not sure where it has gone! This year was a first for Epic - we ran adventures to all seven continents (yes, we even ran a climb of Mont Blanc!).

For me personally the year started in Patagonia and Antarctica with a trek in Patagonia followed by our fly-in, fly-out Antarctica cruise. I then rolled onto Everest Base Camp in April and then to New Guinea and the Kokoda Track in June. July, August and September featured a number of safaris in Africa. One of these was our inaugural trek and paddle in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. Interspersed with these trips I visited the US, Italy, the UK and Morocco. [Read More]

The Best of the Top End & The Kimberley, Australia
Brad and Pedro are just back from hosting renowned UK journalist, Sophy Roberts, on her first ever Australian adventure. They spent 11 nights exploring Kakadu, East Arnhem Land and the Kimberley region; they hiked up spectacular sandstone gorges, air boated over miles of endless floodplains into crocodile infested paper bark swamps, enjoyed four wheel drive safaris through pandanus groves and termite mound ridden terrain and cruised up river gorges by towering granite escarpments dotted with aboriginal rock art. The journey culminated in a breathtaking helicopter safari into the most beautiful freshwater swimming hole they have ever swum in before the mind-blowing ...
