Catalina Island

Catalina Island is a place where the gentle rhythm of the waves makes time slow down. It's a place where you can paddle through crystal clear waters in the crisp morning air, hike amongst the hills and abundant wildlife and enjoy sun soaked massages on the beach in the afternoon.

  • Avalon

Avalon, or Avalon Bay, is the only city on Santa Catalina Island of the California Channel Islands, and the southernmost city in Los Angeles County.  Besides Avalon, the only other centre of population on the island is the small unincorporated town of Two Harbors.

na-catalina-avalonAvalon was first settled in pre-modern times by members of the Gabrielino/Tongva tribe.  Since then, Santa Catalina Island and the city of Avalon have become a destination for travellers from around the world looking for a quiet getaway on a beautifully secluded island.  Activities in Avalon include hiking amongst the hills which border the city, scuba diving in the world class waters of Avalon Bay, or visiting the historical Catalina Casino.

  • Two Harbors

Located on the west end at the island’s Isthmus, Two Harbors is a unique and rustic small island village getaway for outdoor and boating enthusiasts.
