It is located about 25 miles off the Tanzanian mainland and known locally as Unguja, it is 97 km long and 32 km wide. Characterised by beautiful sandy beaches fringed with spectacular coral reefs, and the magic of historic Stone Town – the only functioning ancient town in East Africa.

Mozambique and Seychelles – giant tortoises, coconut crabs, and black parrots claim this idyllic archipelago as home, due north of Madagascar.
